Hi, I’m Haley — owner and designer behind Franklin’s Small Town Flowers. Becoming a florist wasn’t exactly part of my master plan. When Dushore’s longtime florist decided to retire after 33 years, she encouraged me to take a chance and become the town’s next florist. I said yes, opened Franklin’s just one week later, and somehow that leap of faith turned into something I absolutely love. My favorite part of floral design is creating something that feels personal. I love natural movement, interesting textures, beautiful color combinations and arrangements that feel gathered rather than overly structured. No two designs are ever exactly alike, and I think that’s part of what makes flowers so special. But being a small-town florist is about much more than flowers. I get to be part of some of the happiest days in people’s lives and some of the hardest. I’ve watched families grow, celebrated milestones alongside my customers, created wedding flowers, birthday surprises and “just because” bouquets, and helped families honor people they love. I’m incredibly grateful that this little flower shop has become such a big part of my life and our community. I still get excited when the fresh flower delivery arrives, I’m always dreaming up what Franklin’s can become next, and I feel pretty lucky that I get to make beautiful things for people right here in our little corner of Pennsylvania. — Haley

Franklin’s Small Town Flowers is a locally owned flower and gift shop rooted in the heart of Dushore, Pennsylvania.Our story began when Dushore’s longtime florist retired after 33 years and encouraged Haley Franklin to take a chance on becoming the town’s next florist. One week later, Franklin’s opened its doors—and what started with flowers has continued to grow right along with the community that supported us from the beginning.
Today, Franklin’s is more than a flower shop. We create fresh floral arrangements for everyday moments, celebrations, weddings, sympathy and everything in between, while also offering plants, gifts, locally inspired goods and thoughtfully chosen products you’ll want to take home or give to someone you love.
We believe flowers don’t have to be overly formal or complicated. They should feel beautiful, personal and appropriate for the person receiving them. Every arrangement is designed right here in our shop, with our own style and the freshest flowers available.
Most of all, we believe in the kind of service you can only find in a small town—where we know our customers, we know our community, and we genuinely care about the reason behind every order.
